Cheap Frills

There is most definitely something frilly going on at Rowanjoy at the moment. I have been hand sewing some big frilly silk flowers the last few days, I knew all those scraps I was keeping would come in handy one day. I am not going to say what the flowers are for yet (partly because I havent decided) but all shall be revealed as soon as I have and the frills are free.

Introducing Ella

Rowanjoy Bridal has a new addition to the collection - The Ella dress. Ella is based on style of the same name from the Autumn/Winter collection. The bridal style is made from from an ivory georgette, silver silk satin and a beautiful chantilly lace and is £875. Rowanjoy A/W 2011 - In the mood for love. The Photoshoot

I am so excited my photos of the A/W collection are ready and hot off the press here they are for you to view. They are quite different in their atmosphere from the usual style we do and I have to say I love the drama and intensity in them.  I love them and think the feel of the photos along with the location and all the gorgeous hair and make up just work perfectly together. I hope you all like them as much as I do. All the pieces in the photos are all in Godiva Boutique now to buy and the Eve dress style will be going into my made to measure range that I have in the shop.

A little birthday treat.

As some of you may know its my birthday tomorrow and I found in my inbox this morning a lovely early birthday treat. Paul has been working his stylish socks off since Sunday and has finished the first image from the shoot. So as a birthday treat, I have decided to share the image with you all.

Rowanjoy A/W photoshoot sneakiest of peeks

So here is the sneakiest of sneak peeks from the shoot that we just did on Sunday. Its a bit like where's wally but with a glamourous lady rather than a stripey shirted man. The shoot was a great success and I think the results are going to be spectacular. I will put them on here as soon as I have them in my hands. The team as usual were amazing and along with the hospitality of the location and the gorgeousness of the model, it was a great day. My thanks to the fabulous following people.

Rowanjoy A/W 2011 sneak peeks

So I have been a bit lax on the blogging front the last month or so, wedding season was well and truly upon me. It is starting to quieten down with Bridal for the moment which has given me a chance to get going on my new autumn winter collection. So here for you are a few small close ups of some of the details in the new range.

As you can see there is plenty of sparkles and lace, Rowanjoy has gone glam for Autumn/Winter. I have a few final bits and pieces to finish before my photoshoot on Sunday but with some extreme sewing over the next couple of days it will be ready. I am really looking forward to this shoot we have got a gorgeous model, a great location and I have my eye on some fabulous Louboutins to complete the looks (the model also happens to have the same shoe size as me cue complete shoe lust on my part)

I will be back on form with the blogging over the next few weeks with new Rowanjoy Bridal dresses, bespoke bridal from the last couple of months and of course the new shoot and collection.
