Party dress dilemmas no more.
Photos courtesy Denise Grayson@Swelle Boutique
Last week I sent some new dresses down to Denise from Swelle Boutique and now they are up on the site ready to go to new homes. All 3 are one offs so are perfect for that Christmas party where you will be safe in the knowledge that no one will turn up in the same dress as you. Both dresses are actually versions of 2 of the designs I do in my made to measure range at Godiva so if you are still hunting for that elusive dress for the party season this is the perfect option. There are 8 designs to choose from that can be adapted to suit your style and needs. Its the perfect solution to any Christmas dress dilemmas.

Fashion Showcase Wales
Photos courtesy aga@Phototom www.phototom.co.uk
Sunday just passed (7th November) saw Rowanjoy show for the first time at a show in Wales at the Fashion Showcase event. I was asked to take part by Rachel Holland of www.laluminata.co.uk who had been asked to organise the eco section of the show. This was the first time there had been an Eco section so it was a privilege to be asked to take part in the inaugural event along with the label from somewhere. Now I can definitely justify my label as Eco - using vintage and reworked fabrics, trying to find my connection with the Welsh part of the showcase was maybe slightly harder - eh my cousin lives in Cardiff. Details, details, it was still a pleasure to take part in show so well organised as this one. So above are some images of the collection I showed which will be available in Godiva Boutique as soon as it gets back from its trip to Wales.

Autumn/Winter at Swelle Boutique
I posted earlier this year about a new online shop I had started selling through called Swelle Boutique. The site has had a bit of a makeover and went live online today. At the moment they are selling a selection of pieces from my Autumn/Winter collection including the hand printed sweatshirts and winter kimono capes which are both proving popular here in Edinburgh. The new look boutique has added new designers to the ranges previously stocked and have even added the opportunity to get your own handmade pair of shoes courtesy of Japanese label Uenobe. Head to the site now to have a look at all the fabulous things on offer.

Rowanjoy now on etsy
So I have finally pulled my finger out and put some pieces on etsy so I can start selling online to all you lovely people. I have been saying I am going to do this for several months now and various things kept coming along that meant I kept putting it off. I am starting myself of slowly by just putting a couple of pieces on but will gradually build it up until there is a full shop. There a couple of belts on there at the moment but hopefully by the end of November there will be plenty more to choose from. Keep an eye out for additions of old favourites and new surprises and go buy, buy buy.
