An epic wedding shoot day out.

It was an early rise for me yesterday as the day had finally arrived for the Epic wedding shoot. We have been planning this shoot for several weeks now and it was so exciting to finally get to the grand finale so the pain of waking up at 4.30am was definitely eased by the thought of the day ahead. The location was the stunning Ardkinglas in Argyll, which happens to be on my route home to Mum and Dad's so the journey was very familiar to me and thankfully made it easy to navigate at that time in the morning.

The view from the house over Loch Fyne

It was a typical Scottish day when we got there, misty and drizzly, which gave Ardkinglas a romantic, eerie atmosphere but meant most of our plans for shooting outside were abandoned. This didnt prove a problem as the house itself was a labyrinth of grand and stunning rooms which gave more than enough scope for what we had planned. The rooms were filled to the brim with antiques, curiosities, books and endless props which added to the props brought by the team meant our imaginations could run wild.

The team itself was pretty massive and amazing, everyone brought something special to the day.
