The first morning of spring in the park, the smell in the air is fresh and full of promise and new beginnings. You feel as if you could start your life all over again a brand new start and it will all be ok. Do you know that feeling? The bright sun after all the winter dull dark days on your face makes you feel good. Somehow I was blessed to feel this spring like joy all year round. On grey days I smile on wet days I sing, on black days and damp days and windy dark skied bleak days I could easily cry for joy. Who was I to be so blessed? I felt guilty because I had done nothing to deserve this precious gift.

Funk Fair

Tomorrow (11th December) I shall be heaving my wares down to Cafe Camino At St Marys (beside the bottom door of John Lewis) where the annual Christmas Funk Fair has moved to. There will be a variety of fabulous stalls including Godiva, Iconic in the Grassmarket, Totty Rocks and Trash furnishings. This year there is a licensed bar and with only a £1 entry there really is no excuse not to come along and browse all the stalls, have a cheeky glass of vino ( I will be) and buy some fabulous and unique presents for loved ones and yourself. Ive put some pics up of some of the stock I will be taking down along with a sample sale of old pieces which will start from £15.

New print work.

Yesterday morning I braved the snow and ice to make the journey to the print studio. Despite my first fall of the winter season I made it safe and sound to get my printing done. So here are some sneak peaks of what I got done. All of which will be transformed into pieces I will be selling at funk fair next weekend.
